Basic Usage

• Tap the (faintly visible) info button in the bottom right corner of the screen to show the toolbar.
• Swipe down to randomize settings.
• Zoom (pinch or spread) to increase/decrease fly size and type.
• Touch anywhere to attract flies to that spot.
• Tilt left and right to change gravity.
• Swipe right to add a queen.
• Swipe left to remove a queen.
• Swipe up to toggle the fly entrance location between edge and center of screen.
• Shake to shake up the flies!

For performance reasons, Firefly will reduce the maximum number of flies if you are playing music when Firefly starts.

Toolbar Usage

• Press the Down Arrow button to hide the toolbar.
• Press the Flies button to change the number of flies.
• Press the Rainbow button to change the fly color.
• Press the Trace button to configure the Trace feature (see below).

Trace Usage

The Trace feature lets you specify a shape that the flies will trace. There are three Trace modes: Off, Default, and Draw. In Off mode the flies behave normally.  In Default mode Firely uses a built-in trace pattern. In Draw mode you can draw your own trace pattern.

• When in Draw mode, you can draw on the screen to create your own trace image. If you draw too fast then your drawing will be interpreted as a swipe (see above) rather than drawing.
• When in Draw mode, another toolbar button (the Trace Clear button) appears. Press it to clear the current drawing.
• When in Draw mode, you can swipe corner-to-corner to clear the drawing, or hold your iPhone/iPod face down and shake it side-to-side.
